About us
City West is a housing association set up in October 2008 to take over the ownership and management of around 14,600 homes in West Salford.
We are a not for profit company which means that any money we make through collecting rents, or other business must be invested in providing homes and services. We do have shareholders, and as a tenant or leaseholder of City West you are entitled to be a become a shareholder.

City West is run by a management board made up of tenants, independent members and local councillors. It is independent of the council and is regulated by the Tenant Services Authority.
