Health and Safety Strategy, 2016 – 2019

We believe that accidents, ill health and near-miss events can be prevented and will encourage everyone to work in a safe and healthy way. We are committed to providing a positive Health & Safety culture with coherent policies and procedures that are compliant with all appropriate Health & Safety standards.

This Strategy has five key aims.

  • To provide a safe and healthy workplace.
  • To manage Health & Safety robustly.
  • To have strong leadership championing the importance of Health & Safety within the workplace.
  • To ensure all staff are appropriately trained in Health & Safety issues and risk management in their area of work.
  • To listen to and evaluate any ideas in relation to Health & Safety.
