We've pledged to make Salford 10% Better

City West Housing Trust has pledged to tackle poverty and play our part in improving the following by 10% in Salford.

We pledge to deliver social value to make Salford 10% Better in eight areas, particularly enabling Salford people to access training and employment and improving the health and wellbeing of people with dementia.

MORE young people who are in employment, education and training

MORE Salford people saying that they have good wellbeing

MORE use of parks and green spaces

MORE companies paying the LW Foundation Living Wage

MORE local people from vulnerable groups accessing new jobs, apprenticeships, training and work experience placements

LESS fuel poverty

MORE purchasing from Salford based companies

The aim is to tackle the inequality and poverty in Salford and improve wellbeing and quality of life for the people who live here and maximise the local benefit from all money spent in Salford.
