Salford Spring Clean

Tuesday 14 March 2017

The Great British Spring Clean is a campaign with one simple ambition. To bring together people from across the country to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and coastline.

The Neighbourhoods and Communities Team at City West organised a spring clean across the city on Friday 3rd March 2017.

During the day we targeted hotspot areas and collected 65 bin bags of litter.

We worked in partnership with Salford City Council who provided us with litter picks, bin bags and collected all waste. We also worked closely with Westwood Park Primary School, Westwood and Alder Park Tenants and Residents Association and Peel Resource volunteers who all came together to help clean up the local area.
