Skills for Employment
We work in partnership with The Manchester Growth Company and European Social Fund to deliver the Skills for Employment programme aiming to get customers back into work, education or training.
Customers complete a part-time eight week work experience placement in an area they are interested in. With areas including business administration, construction, ICT, communications and marketing, customer service, enterprise and development, participants gain experience needed to springboard them into employment. We also
offer a L1 Certificate in multi-trade construction activities for participants interested in moving into the construction industry.
Customers benefit from friendly one to one tailored support and many have moved into employment as a result, completing the work experience and / or accreditation.
Each participant’s journey may be different. The programme will tackle the barriers that prevent these individuals from accessing support with more opportunities for education and training, improved health and wellbeing services, better financial help
and new programmes to build people’s confidence.
