We’ve created a DVD to make it easier to know what to expect from our Investment Programme. You can also read more about what to expect in our Customer Guide and read our case studies.
Before we begin any work on your home our team will conduct a ‘scoping survey’. This happens between 6 months and a year before your refurbishment. The survey helps us identify exactly which improvements your home needs and makes sure we achieve the high standards set out by City West and the government. It also ensures we keep the promises we make to you.
Bathrooms and Kitchens are replaces in line with our published replacement criteria. If you are concerned that your kitchen or bathroom has not been allocated for replacement as part of the improvement works then you can request a review, please call or email the Investment and Regeneration Team on 0161 605 7538.
If your bathroom, kitchen, fireplace and/or doors are being replaced you will have a choice of designs and colours.
Your Customer Liaison Officer will be your main point of contact throughout the work and will be available to you each day your property is being worked on.
For details of what your Customer Liaison Officer can help you with see the Investment Works Customer Guide.
We also have a dedicated Investment and Regeneration Team who can help with all enquiries if you cannot reach your Customer Liason Officer. You can contact the Investment and Regeneration Team on 0161 605 7538 or email.
Work has now started on improvements to four of our sheltered schemes. Following consultations with customers, contractors Emanuel Whittaker have began work on Laurence Lowry Court in Swinton. The improvements include a refurbishment of the communal areas and toilet facilities as well as better storage facilities. Streetgate, The Meadows and Pennington Close are the other three schemes that will undergo the improvement works once planning applications have been granted.
