Shareholders

A A A

Become a City West shareholder for just 1p*

Becoming a shareholder of City West doesn’t cost the earth, and in fact with just a penny it gives you another way to influence the way that we do things.
Being a shareholder simply means that you can put forward your views along with contributing to the direction of our organisation.
Shareholding is a key Offer Document promise and we are keen to encourage customers to become shareholders and have a say in the running of City West.
Becoming a shareholder with us doesn’t reward you with dividends but it does mean that:
Once a year, you’ll be invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to meet staff and Board members. The AGM is an important event and is an opportunity to reflect on our work over the year and gives shareholders the right to vote on any issues raised

  • You automatically receive a copy of our Annual Report
  • You will be invited to any meetings over and above the AGM (Special General Meetings)
  • Shareholders will work with City West to develop an incentive scheme and will be eligible for entry into a quarterly prize draw

*Each share has the nominal value of one penny, but you will not have to pay this. It will be paid from a special budget set aside by City West.

Who can be a shareholder?

All tenants and leaseholders and members of the Board are eligible to apply for and retain shareholding membership.
There are circumstances where you may not be eligible to become a shareholder –
see our website for details or speak to a member of staff.
