Service Overview

To keep your home and its surrounding area looking its best, City West and its skilled team provides many services. We are responsible for maintaining or providing the following:

• Caretaking
• Cleaning communal areas
• Door entry servicing, lift servicing and insurance
• Keeping fire equipment, electricity and lighting in communal areas in good working order.
• Maintaining grounds, grassed areas and shared gardens.

Our service also covers repairing and maintaining your home with regular planned works. Above and beyond planned works is our 5 Year Investment Programme designed to raise the standards across all of our homes in West Salford. It is also the unseen things like the day-to-day management and administration of your block or estate that are included in our drive for outstanding performance. With the exception of our Investment Programme, all of these, as well as your buildings insurance are included in your Service Charge.

Major Works

From time to time City West may have to carry out major works on your building or estate. We will normally consult residents and you will receive a separate notice detailing the cost that you and your neighbours will be expected to contribute towards the work.
