Rent is calculated on a weekly basis although you can choose how to pay and how frequently to pay, discuss options with your Rent Officer. Find out who your Local Rent Officer is.
You will be given a detailed breakdown of rent and other service charges when you sign your Tenancy Agreement and shortly after you move in you’ll receive your rent payment card.
If you pay a service charge (which covers things like cleaning, lighting and heating of communal areas), this is usually added to the rent so you will pay one overall figure.

Arrange for your bank to make payments weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Your local housing office will arrange this for you over the phone. You can use your City West payment card wherever you see the PayPoint sign. They are usually at newsagents, garages, off licences and convenience stores.

You can now pay your rent via text message. To begin texting your payments, you need a UK-registered mobile phone, a valid Allpay swipecard and a current debit or credit card. You then need to register online.

City West will support you in every way we can, however, if you do not keep up your payments we may be forced to take legal action to recover your home.
Your rent is calculated using Government guidelines, depending on the size, location and value of your home. You will receive a Rent Statement every three months telling you the rent due, payments you have made over the last 13 weeks and whether you are in credit or in arrears. You can ask for a Rent Statement to keep up to date with charges and payments on your account. If we make any changes to rent or service charges we will give you at least 4 weeks written notice.
