2011 winners

The 2011 Customer MAD Awards took place in September at The Lighthouse in Eccles, Salford.

There are nine specific categories and we asked you to nominate that special someone who you know goes the extra mile to make your neighbourhood a better place to live. The winners are:

  • Community Contributor - Eileen and Seamus McCallion
  • Green Achiever - Stuart Campbell
  • Neighbourhood Fundraiser - Brenda Smith
  • Young Rising Star - Molly Moores
  • Fairway Ambassador - Steve Sheridan
  • Greatest Group - Brookhouse Community Association
  • Number One Neighbour - Granville and Joan Heyes
  • Star For Seniors - Angela Reilly
  • Leading Light - Cath Hamilton
  • Judge's Special Award - Sharon Girgenti

The winners were selected by a panel of impartial judges and were presented with their awards by community campaigner, Baroness Helen Newlove. Read more about the awards and the ceremony.
